Sailor faces 10 years for Sub photos

And our dumbass of the day award goes to......29 year old Kristian Saucier of Arlington Vermont.  From 2007-2012, he served on the USS Alexandria out of Groton.  At some point he used a cell phone camera to take pictures while on board, including of classified areas and equipment.  He then apparently threw the phone away, without bothering to erase the pictures.  The phone was found at a waste transfer station, with the pictures on it.  He plead guilty to unauthorized possession and retention of national defense information and faces up to 10 years and $250,000 in fines.
