I didn't even know a civilian could get a ride on a B-2. The AF gave Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST Robotics, an incentive flight on the B-2 and for those reading that right, yes the B-2 has seats for 3. Honestly, given the chance to ride in a B-2 or a fighter jet, it would be a tough call to not take the Spirit.

They occasionally do, but don't show off all the bells and whistles. When the first one came through Hickam, I was told that I could see anything but the cockpit, or into the intakes, and like a week later there was a full color, power on, two page spread of the cockpit in Popular Mechanics, taken when one of their reporters got a ride.

I recall at least 1 article where a journalist rode right seat on a training sortie out of Guam I think. Pretty cool article.
