Great article on testing Taranis in Australia on Aviation Week. Engineers equipped the aircraft with duplex hydraulic and electrical systems as well as triplex flight control systems to protect people on the ground as well as a kill system. They have three modes of flight, automatic when it's searching for targets, autonomous when it's on an attack run, and manual which was used once. I'd love to see some numbers on performance and at least a ballpark on RCS. I imagine it's got to be pretty low.
